Corporate Strategy Consultant

A rapidly expanding, high performing PE backed Pension Advisory business is seeking a new Strategy Consultant to join their Corporate Strategy function in London on permanent basis.

Brand new role in a newly created Corporate Strategy function for a leading Pension Consultancy and Advisory business
Reporting directly to the Head of Strategy Director with great exposure to the board and leadership team.

Your Role:
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Strategy, you will play a key role in shaping the strategy and success of a leading Pensions business. Working with key internal and external stakeholders, you will help drive business strategy whilst developing high-value models and investment cases. More specifically you will:

• Conduct comprehensive market, industry, and competitor analysis (including benchmarking) to provide asses potential acquisition opportunities
• Develop PowerPoint packs to articulate findings and recommendations to a senior leadership audience
• Analyse and interpret data and deliver data-driven insights to inform business decisions
• Develop and refresh KPI dashboards that provide insights into business performance
• Research and assess M&A targets and develop proposals on potential acquisition opportunities
• Develop models including high-level valuation models and investment cases

Your Profile:

• Proven experience in Strategy Consulting or Transaction Services role within financial services for a tier-1 consultancy firm or Pensions business
• Experience of researching and evaluating markets and competitors, developing market-facing business strategies and evaluating and interpreting complex data sets
• Experience or exposure to working within M&A and familiarity with the M&A deal lifecycle would be highly advantageous
• Highly organised, able to work autonomously and experienced managing multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
