Our client is a UK Top 40 insurance law firm with offices across the UK. They are currently recruiting a Costs Team Leader to join their Abuse team at their West Midlands office during a significant period of growth. An excellent salary and hybrid working structure is available, and negotiable dependent upon experience.
Your new role
This Costs Team Leader role will see you manage a team of fee earners, ensuring the team meets its financial and technical objectives, including KPIs and chargeable hours. You will be responsible for the mentorship and development of all team members to improve the efficiency of the team. Successful candidates will provide updates, procedures and local initiatives. This role will see you manage client finances, controlling FE/EL costs.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be a qualified solicitor/CILEX who has extensive litigation experience. An understanding of budgeting is essential. Previous experience of cost negotiation for recoveries is essential. Management experience is essential.
