As Credit Control Manager, you will be the person in the business to manager, motivate and lead a team of Credit Controllers in the delivery of high-quality collection of debt for 2 entities.

This is a role where you will have completely autonomy of running the function how you see fit – this is not a role where your input will be restricted by the FD; he’ll give you strong backing to put accounts on-stop and instruct legal processes… he’ll completely trust in your decision and allow you to have total control!

The FD has also put a huge emphasis on IT this year and his focus is automating processes and making the systems as slick as possible – so, any ideas you have, he’ll welcome this and encourage you to voice your opinion! If it helps your team do their job even better, he is all ears.

It will be down to you to set departmental objectives, ensuring the billing monthly debtor targets are achieved and that customers receive the best possible service.

You will be heavily involved in Board Meetings at month-end with the FD, producing reports and highlighting areas of improvement, liaising with stakeholders and making suggestions.

So, this isn’t just a “managerial” role where you’ll be overseeing the Credit Control function and the day-to-day activity of the staff; you’ll be on the front line, getting fully involved in improving the department and being involved in Director decisions, with the opportunity to manage your own National Accounts.
