Credit Controller - Temporary Role for 2-3 Months
Our client based in Brentwood is seeking a part time experienced Credit Controller to join the team immediately on a temporary basis for 2-3 months.
If you have previous Credit Control experience with good use of computer systems (MS Packages and Xero), then we would love to hear from you!
Our client is in the process of setting up a new system to track payments and invoicing more effectively, therefore experience implementing a new system or way of working within Accounts Receivable would be an advantage.
Duties will include:
- Chasing invoices and ensuring outstanding invoices are able to be paid - correct PO numbers attached, correct contact information and amounts
- Monitoring account receivables and ensuring all financial records are accurate
- Working with finance team to resolve any discrepancies
- Analysing financial statement and credit reports
- Credit checking new and existing customers, making informed decisions regarding credit limits and checks
- Updating spreadsheets with debtors information
- Cash allocations
- Use of Xero and familiar with government based funding (ATW) would be an advantage
- Supporting the accounts team with ad-hoc admin duties as required
Hours/Days: A full day on Monday 9am-5pm (or 9am-4pm) and half days on Wednesday and Friday (9am-12pm or 10am-1pm) - 14 hours per week
Fully office based with free parking
£13.50 per hour (25k pro rata)
