Annual Salary: £26,000
Location: Hybrid (2 days a week @ home post-probation) - Flexibility to WFH
Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours, Mon - Fri
Day to Day of the Role:
- Actively pursue outstanding debts through telephone and written communication
- Resolve account discrepancies, including misallocated cash and incorrect invoice postings
- Accurately allocate payments and post to the in-house system
- Monitor and identify details for unallocated cash payments and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Perform administrative duties, including preparing credit status forms and agency reports
- Take full ownership of customer sales ledger accounts
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate accounting documentation
- Update company databases and maintain accurate status reports
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency with PCs, particularly Excel and Word
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to remain calm and effective
