Leading Design & Manufacturing Business in the heart of leafy South West London is in a period of growth and requires a Credit Controller (9-12 month FTC) to join there efficient and professional finance function.
Your new role :
Main responsibilities will be :
Managing monthly Credit Control
- Collect payment of invoices per the agreed payment term
- Responding to customer invoices' queries and resolve the queries.
- Sending statement to customers regularly
- Maintain aged debtors report weekly with customers' feedback.
- Highlight any aged debtors and potential non-paying customers.
- Work with Legal team to debts recovery process
Maintaining Customer Records
- Completing new customers account opening process by evaluating new credit requests and conducting client credit checks.
- Processing Invoices
- Raising sales invoices per sales quotation generated by the File Maker
- Liaising with Warehouse to ensure monthly Storage invoices are sent out correctly.
- Raising any monthly invoices for the intercompany
- Bank Reconciliation
- Bookkeeping Sales Receipts into Sage 200 and updating this information into File maker.
- Request remittance advice to allocate the sales receipts correctly to the related invoices.
- Reconciling Euro, Dollar, and Sterling bank accounts daily.
What you\'ll need to succeed
You will have at least two years\' experience working in a very similar role. In addition, the role is working from the office 5 days a week, so you will ideally be a local candidate to the Wimbledon/Croydon area.
In addition, you will have the following key skills and attributes:
- Accuracy on data entries
- Computer literate with good knowledge of Excel, Word and ideally SAGE 200 accounting (not essential)
- Strong communication skills Internal stakeholders such as Sales and Operations
- Attention to detail and timeliness.
- Articulate, Confident and Assertive
- Ability to deal with problematic and demanding customers.
- Ability to reconcile complex debtors' accounts

Flexible working options available. Working hours are 9am-5.30pm, though an agreement can be made to start & finish earlier.
This is a great role for an up and coming Credit Controller or accounts receivable clerk with 2+ years experience to take the next step in there career and be part of a rapidly growing business. The salary is competitive and will pay circa £35K + benefits including 25 days holiday.
