Credit Controller

Ivy Rock Partners are pleased to be working with an exceptional university in recruiting a Credit Controller to come join their team on a 3-6 month contract.

As a Credit Controller, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial stability of our institution by efficiently managing and recovering outstanding student fees and debts.

This is a hybrid working role 2-3 days in the office based in London Bridge.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively manage the credit control process, including the timely collection of outstanding debts and student fees.
• Implement effective debt recovery strategies to minimize bad debt and improve cash flow.
• Maintain accurate records of all debtors and outstanding balances, utilizing our financial management systems.
• Communicate effectively to resolve payment disputes and negotiate repayment plans.

Looking for:

• Proven experience in credit control and debt recovery. Desirable if the experience has been in an educational institution
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards.
• A hands-on individual who is able to work independently and collaboratively
• Able to work to deadlines with strong planning, time management and organisational skills
• Able to communicate effectively
• Experienced in investigating historic debt
