Your new company
Your new company is a law firm based in beautiful offices in Central London, walkable from Cannon Street and City Thameslink. They operate a hybrid work policy of 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.
Your new role
Your new role will be based in the Revenue team and has come about due to an internal promotion. Your main duties will be:
- Contacting debtors via email and telephone to solve queries.
- Allocating cash against the correct invoice.
- Liaising with the Revenue Controller and Legal Biller to determine the correct rates and hours charged.
- Reducing the DSO and then keeping it at a consistently low level.
- Developing relationships with fee earners and partners to learn more about their clients.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will need at least 2 years of credit control experience, ideally within another law firm or accountancy practice. You will need to be familiar with WIP and its function within a finance team and a business. You will be target driven, and enjoy developing and maintaining relationships with clients and senior stakeholders within the business.
