We are pleased to be working closely with our client based in South Leeds who are a well-established B2B (Business to Business) wholesaler and renowned within their industry sector. They now have an opportunity for a Credit Controller to join them on a permanent basis. You will be working in a team of 3 Credit Controllers with responsibility for a section of the sales ledger.
Main Responsibilities:
- Reconciliation and allocation of customer payments to accounts
- Maintaining regular contact with customers by telephone and e-mail to facilitate prompt payment of outstanding invoices
- Managing the recovery of overdue accounts, including restriction of credit and issuance of control letters
- Resolving invoice discrepancies, including the coordination of customer credit notes
- Processing new customer account applications
Key Skills:
- Experience in credit control in a similar B2B environment
- Confident in communication, both written and oral
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to develop rapport quickly
- Enjoy working as part of an effective team
Salary £26,000 – £28,000 dependent on experience
