Credit Controller – Part-time 20 hours per week
Elite have exclusively partnered with a Fashion Tech Platform who are looking for a dedicated and reliable Credit Controller to join their growing team. Reporting into the Director of Operations, you will be supporting the team in the credit control management in their London office.
This role would ideally suit a person who holds a Credit Controller position in a similar environment, who understands priorities/pressures of working in a creative business. Our client is looking for someone who is organised, has ability to work to tight deadlines and has experience of working with and managing relationships with external clients and advisors.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Client Success team to manage Clients' renewal queries.
- Create invoices and payment links.
- Monitor and minimise Churn in collaboration with Client Success.
- Chasing invoices due for payment, and outstanding debt.
- Maintain accurate records of customer payments and account status.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and disputes in a timely manner.
- Negotiate payment plans and terms with customers as needed.
- Identify and escalate potential credit risks to management.
- Conduct thorough data analysis to extract actionable insights and trends, providing valuable recommendations to inform the strategic decision-making process.
- Liaise with internal teams, including sales and finance, to ensure alignment on procedures.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and regulations.
- Review processes and procedures, suggest and implement improvements and continue to monitor.
- Drive the successful delivery of personal projects by proactively identifying risks, resolving issues, and adapting strategies.
Skills:
- 3+ years experience
- Proven experience as a Credit Controller
- Strong understanding of credit control principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, in a customer facing environment.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work independently with autonomy, being comfortable with own decision making.
- Work collaboratively across various depts/teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Salesforce preferred.
