Grafton Banks are currently seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our clients team based in Sevenoaks. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring that payments are received on time and resolving any payment queries. We are looking for someone who has at least 2 years' experience in credit control.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Allocating payments and bank receipts.
- Chasing outstanding debts, across multiple channels (phone/email).
- Maintaining customer accounts.
- Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and customers.
- Completing month end duties, i.e. month end debt reports.
- Monthly review of the sales ledger, for multiple entities.
- Monitoring debtor balances, ensuring there is a reduction in debtors.
Required skills and experience:
- At least 2 years' experience in credit control.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and customers.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
