Primary purpose of the role:
To effectively and proactively manage the credit control function in order to provide the appropriate information/service to the site, to colleagues and to the client
Working Days & Hours:
Monday to Friday - 08.30am to 17.30pm (1 hour lunch)
Key Accountabilities:
- Call clients requesting payment on outstanding invoices
- Log queries and liaise with department
- Daily reconciliation of collections and bankings
- Daily administration tasks
- Retain ownership and drive prompt resolutions with clients
- Follow correct company collection procedures
- To actively pursue and collect outstanding debt
- To ensure the firm meets its stated targets on outstanding debt levels
- To liaise with Managers to ensure the most effective and rapid collection of outstanding debts
- To deal with incoming remittance in payment of fees for the firm and all enquiries relating to these
- To prepare and provide clients with regular statements of outstanding debt when required to do so
- To run aged debt reports on a regular basis and use these to provide management reporting on outstanding debt
