SalaryAstute Recruitment are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Credit Manager to join our industry recognised client to have responsibility for the business default and recovery activities. In this Uttoxeter based role, you will be responsible for managing arrears, defaults, recovery of assets, and bad debt amongst other things.
Our FCA regulated client requires candidates to have solid experience and knowledge of CCA lending within the asset finance sector will be important.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing effective support for the company’s recoveries and default activities
- Lead and mentor the two field-based members of the collections team
- Implement strategies to continuously improve the collections procedure to contribute to the company’s overall financial objectives
- Develop a framework for setting policies and procedures for CCA regulated cases, including litigation
- Working within the company’s policies, procedures and compliance with prevailing law and regulation, to recover company assets and mitigate bad debt
- Liaise with administrators, liquidators, and solicitors where necessary
- Maintain and develop key relationships with clients and stakeholders
Experience and qualifications:
- CICM qualified or equivalent (Desirable but not essential)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within a credit management role in the asset finance sector.
- Experience with CCA regulated lending and litigation is essential
- Excellent communication skills, being able to display empathy whilst maintain excellent customer focus
- Proven managerial experience
- Ability to think strategically and to apply strategy where necessary
- Ability to lead by example in accordance with company values and objectives
Benefits and Hours:
- Salary up to £50,000 depending on experience (Top end of budget will require candidates to meet all criteria within the brief)
- Working hours of 8:30am - 4:45pm
- Hybrid working once training has concluded but option to work in office 5 days a week is available
