Our client is a leading Financial Services Business based in Uttoxeter who provide their service all over the world. They have a full-time Credit Manager vacancy to manage their Recoveries Team, leading a team of two, with the potential for succession with the role.
The Credit Manager is responsible for managing arrears, default, forbearance, termination of agreements, recovery of assets, and bad debt. Experience and knowledge of Consumer Credit Act lending in the asset finance sector is important. After training, up to 2 days home working is available, with 3 days working in the office.
Duties:
- Providing effective support for the company’s recoveries and default activities.
- Implementing strategies to continuously improve the collections procedure.
- Developing a framework for setting policies and procedures for cases that are regulated by the Consumer Credit Act (CCA).
- Liaising with Administrators, Liquidators, insolvency practitioners, and solicitors where necessary.
- Maintaining and developing relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Compliant with financial services regulation including the Conduct Rules, anti-money laundering, DPA, vulnerable customers, treating customers fairly, and fraud, etc.
Requirements:
- CICM qualified (or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a credit management role.
- Good knowledge of CCA regulation.
- Good understanding of B2B lending and risk management.
- Ideal experiencing in the banking sector / financial services / asset finance sector / construction sector.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proven success in a managerial role.
