SalaryStatera Talent is recruiting a data-driven credit specialist on behalf of a market-leading Financial Institution based in London.
The team's primary objective is to research and develop credit lending strategies.
This role sits in the 1st line. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in decision science, credit analytics or strategy development.
Responsibilities:
- Innovate strategies, from conceptualization to deployment.
- Conduct comprehensive data analyses to accurately depict strategy performance
- Present findings transparently and objectively to stakeholders.
- Develop new lending products.
Requirements:
- MSc/PhD background in a numerical discipline (Financial Mathematics/Physics/Computer Science/Financial Engineering).
- Strong programming experience in Python, SAS or SQL.
- Prior experience within Data/Decision Science, Credit Analytics or Credit Strategy.
- Exposure to unsecured lending across retail or consumer portfolios.
The role is well suited for someone with a proactive mindset. You will deep dive into data, maximise the efficiency of the firm's credit strategy and have creative freedom to develop new products.
