About the team
The Credit Risk team sit within our Operations function, their primary responsibility is to ensure the risk of loss to the business is minimised. The team are responsible for new and existing merchants underwriting practices and procedures, delivering against KPI's and SLA's.
What you will be doing
As Credit Risk Manager you will responsible for supervising a small Global team, ensuring the team deliver to SLA's and meet daily objectives. You will be responsible for managing daily tasks and escalations monitoring and appropriately delegating work flow. You will take ownership of ensuring all audit requirements are maintained, SOPS and guidelines up to date.
You will complete Quality Assurance checks on Analyst work and provide feedback and training where necessary, and producing Monthly MI reporting.
- Undertaking in depth Credit Risk assessments of new and existing merchants
- Completing Quality assurance checks and providing feedback to Analyst
- Creating Monthly MI reporting
- Analyse information to assess Credit Risks highlighting pertinent points and any areas of concern
- Communicated decisions back to the relevant parties.
- Ensure that all systems/ databases are maintained accurately at all times, for management information reporting.
- Some previous team leader or team supervisor experience
- Experience of QA
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Experience interpreting large amounts of data and converting it into key information to produce clear and concise reports.
- A keen eye for the smaller detail is essential
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence and assurance to manage difficult conversations
- Experience working in a financial regulated environment
- Previous coaching experience
- Previous underwriting experience at a senior level.
