Job Description:

We have an amazing opportunity for a Cruise Development Manager to join a leading Global Tour Operator in the Worcestershire area. This position would be hybrid with 3 days in the office per week, 2 days from home working 9-5:30 Monday to Friday with an expectation for period of international travel. You will be responsible seeking new opportunities to further expand the global footprint of the Cruise team as well as further developing existing relationships whilst supporting your team. Bonus is paid annually based on team and individual performance.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Negotiate commercial deals for cruise line contracts and cruise specific products with operators.
- Liaise and communicate with cruise line partners regularly.
- Explore and qualify new business opportunities as well as growing existing relationships and upselling/cross-selling where possible.
- Support cruise team with regular reviews, 1-2-1’s, development plans and day to day operational support within team.
- Attend trade shows nationally and internationally.
- Delivering on targets and KPI’s regular, analysing & reporting into line management.
Skills and Experience required:
- Minimum 3 years travel management experience.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
- Business Development and Account Management experience.
- Excellent Written and communication skills.
- IT competent.
- Cruise industry experience would be ideal.
