Business Development Manager

Adecco have a fantastic opportunity for a driven sales professional to join a national business as a field-based Business Development Manager. This is a role that offers great potential earnings and a chance for you to own and be responsible for your own territory.

Reporting to the Sales Manager this role will allow you to manage your own area selling the company services portfolio to current customers whilst growing new business, and at all times maintaining and developing positive working relationships with customers.

• The successful candidate will have recent experience of business to business (B2B) sales including managing and attending face to face appointments.


• Excellent communication, negotiating and inter-personal skills, including the ability to develop effective working relationships, be able to work on their own and in a team and be able to demonstrate a professional approach.


• They will be able to organise and prioritise workload, work under pressure and identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. They will also have strong Microsoft skills, especially Microsoft Excel.


• Self-motivated and target-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.


• Experience in waste management is preferred but not essential

Working Hours- 8.30am-5pm Monday to Friday

Salary £30k basic with Monthly and Quarterly Bonus - OTE £40K in first year
