The Customer Service Advisor will work within the Connect Hub Team to provide our customers with a caring and proactive support service. We are passionate about first call resolution and customer experience.

About the role

You will be...

• Predominantly telephony-based customer service role with an emphasis on consistency of quality
• providing our customers with a caring and proactive support service. We are passionate about first call resolution and customer experience.
• Provide up to date information about our products and services.
• Retain customers through promoting the benefits of our products.
• Supporting customers with online claims queries and helping them to register for our online services.
• Replying to customer queries via email

Getting involved in…

• A healthy work/life balance, and this opportunity will offer you a 35-hour working week, working between 8.15-5.30 Monday – Friday, with the option to condense your hours and make this a 4-day week. You will have flexibility to work from home once training is completed.
• You will complete a 12-week training plan in our modern office in Sheffield city centre.

• A friendly and supportive team of 18 customer Service Advisors in our hub

About you:

Education and Qualifications

• A reasonable standard of education or equivalent qualifications/experience.

Experience

• Experience of working in a target customer focussed environment.
• Sound experience of performing a computer-based task or role in a work environment

Skills

• An ability to build rapport and a desire to go above and beyond for our customers.
• An ability to work to a high standard of customer service in line with our quality and performance metrics.
• Strong, clear, and effective communication skills so you exceed customer expectations.
• A genuine interest in helping people.
• Flexible and adaptable, open to change and new ways of working, with a positive can-do approach.
• A proactive approach to your own development
• A team player that develops great working relationships
• PC literate and capable of operating new systems with confidence and accuracy, competent in using Microsoft Office Suite
