JOB OBJECTIVE
The Customer Service & Administration Specialist will play a key role in Stormtech's UK & European operations. This dynamic position is primarily responsible for delivering exceptional Customer Service and assistance to our regional wholesale partners, alongside providing vital backend support to our UK based sales team. This position also includes the coordination of day-to-day administrative duties at our Watford office.
NATURE AND SCOPE
Reporting to the Director of International Sales, the new team member will collaborate closely with the UK-based sales team to ensure outstanding support is provided to both our partners in the UK & EU markets, and internal staff.
This role is based full-time at Stormtech's Watford office, with a remote management structure in place. It is ideally suited for a detail-oriented self starter who is comfortable working independently (given our sales team's frequent travel commitments, there will be days where you will be the sole person in the office). The daily responsibilities associated with this role will vary, promising a dynamic and ever-evolving work environment.
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
Customer Service & Sales Support:
- Processing orders efficiently and accurately
- Offering product decoration support to clients
- Providing product recommendations and inventory levels to customers
- Tracking orders and resolving any issues promptly
- Providing general customer support via phone and email
Partner Support:
- Serving as a liaison for partner events by organizing samples, sales/marketing materials, etc.
- Completing partner document requests, such as product information sheets
- Maintaining a stocked product list for distributors
- Communicating with our EU & UK Decoration Partners to ensure a smooth experience for customers.
Office Operations:
- Managing office inventory (including inventory counts) and supplies to ensure smooth operations.
- Handling incoming and outgoing packages effectively
- Handling shipping and maintaining inventory of sample
- Preparing samples, rolling racks, and necessary supplies for Sales Manager meetings
- Maintaining and updating Confluence, our collaborative platform
RELEVANT SKILLS
- Proven work experience as a Customer Service Representative
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work in a small team
- Flexibility and comfort with supporting additional projects as required
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
- Results oriented, self-motivated and driven to achieve high standards of Customer Service excellence
- Ability to anticipate problems and resolve issues quickly
- Familiarity with Microsoft products: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM
- Strong ability to communicate and present digitally through platforms like Teams.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 5+ years work experience in a Customer Service/Support/Administrative role
- 5+ years independently with minimal in-person supervision
- Track record of delivering exceptional 'service' results within a small team
- Outstanding Customer Service skills
- Flexible, adaptable, and open to change
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Leadership skills with experience managing customers
