An opportunity to join a small but welcoming Customer Services team where your primary goal will be to provide exceptional service to their trade customers. As a key member of this friendly team, you'll primarily focus on placing orders received through their website, resolving issues with missing or incorrect orders and assisting with customer enquiries both via email and over the telephone.
The role:
In this role, you'll spend approximately 80% of your time:
- Processing orders efficiently through their website platform.
- Addressing and resolving issues related to missing or incorrect orders.
- Utilising your expertise to ensure smooth order processing and timely delivery.
Additionally, you'll spend around 20% of your time:
- Engaging directly with customers to assist with product enquiries and take orders over the telephone
- Offer customers alternative products if stock is not available
- Providing exceptional support to enhance their customer experience and foster positive relationships with their customers.
Key skills and experience:
- Strong administration skills, ideally with experience in a manufacturing background where you have experience of processing and taking orders (although not essential).
- Experienced in managing online orders and resolving related issues.
- Contributing to the warm and supportive atmosphere within their small Customer Services team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage effectively with customers and building relationships to secure repeat orders
- Experience in conflict resolution and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy.
