Role Overview:
Our client is a leading company committed to delivering excellence in Customer Service and satisfaction. Their team in Matlock plays a vital role in ensuring seamless operations and outstanding support to their valued customers. As a Customer Service Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for their customers, providing timely assistance and resolving inquiries efficiently. Your primary responsibility will be to manage customer orders, process requests, and ensure accurate documentation using SAP. You will work closely with internal teams to coordinate order fulfilment and address any customer concerns promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pro-actively handle the processing of all order types with accuracy and timeliness from quotation through to delivery and payment.
- Ensure logistics and sales planning is coordinated with operations team.
- Monitor and report variations to budget and forecast by customer and product, including margins.
- Resolve customer complaints with support from quality team and internal stake holders.
- Stay abreast of export legislation and ensure compliance of all documentation.
- Suggest sales process improvements as appropriate to support the Customer Service Manager.
- Provide data for weekly S&OP and the weekly sales bullets
- Support Customer Service Manager with meeting preparation, including customer visits and monthly management meetings.
- Coordinate UK and Export hauliers to meet customer demands, ensuring all documentation is accurately processed.
- Ensure Commercial Competition Compliance is understood and maintained
Skills required
- Ideally have experience using SAP software
- Experience within a similar commercial Customer Service and / or logistics role in a corporate environment would be advantageous.
- Customer service focused with a proven ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
- Experienced in a B2B Customer Service business, combined with strong business acumen.
- An eye for detail, well organised and flexible with a can-do attitude.
- Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrates ability to learn quickly, work independently as well as part of a team, and work under pressure whilst prioritising to meet deadlines.
