Your new role
In this role you will be promoting our organisation and the benefits they can provide to their customers. In this role, you will be cold calling to identify new opportunities to promote the organisation. You will also be identifying areas where this organisation can engage with new community groups and target audiences within local territories in Northern Ireland.
Please note that in this role you will be required to work up to 8pm a minimum of 3 nights per week. You will get time in lieu of those nights.
Your key accountabilities will also include:
- Present and sell the benefit of this company to potential customers
- Complete face-to-face appointments with warm customers
- Use company resources to prepare action plans and identify specific targets
- Develop and maintain sales materials and product knowledge
- Establish and maintain sales materials and product knowledge
- Prepare and submit daily paperwork to a high standard
- Identify and resolve customer concerns
- Record and submit accurate daily activity
- Conduct field canvassing activities in line with departmental requirements
- To persuade unconnected householders to consider the benefits of this organisation and their product
- Participate in marketing events such as trade shows, field canvassing and telemarking
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role, you will have the following:
Essential
- Full Valid UK driving licence
- Minimum 2 years' experience working in a customer-facing role
- Minimum 2 years' experience working in a target driven role
- Flexibility with working hours as the successful candidate will be required to carry out appointments most suitable to the business and customers
- Positive, enthusiastic and industrious approach to the job
- Self-motivated
- Excellent communication, negotiation and persuasive skills
- Proficient IT skills, including the use of MS programmes such as Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong administrative skills
Desirable
- Experience of working in a field sales role
