Customer Service Adviser (Charity)
• Annual Salary: £23,337 (£11,668 for part time)

• Job Type: Full-time or Part-time (40 hours or 20 hours a week, worked on a rota basis, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays)
As a Customer Service Adviser, you will often be the first point of contact for anyone coming to our centres. This role is incredibly varied, involving reception duties, safety checks, and providing a high-quality Customer Service experience. You will also play a key part in keeping the building safe, acting as a designated first aider and fire marshal.
Day-to-day of the role:
• Welcome all persons arriving at the building, providing information on services/ facilities available.
• Operate all the relevant IT systems being used.
• Follow cashing up procedure throughout the shift and do cashing up prior to shift ending.
• Carry out routine checks of the main public and communal areas ensuring they are welcoming, clean, tidy and risk free.
• Accurately record all incidents witnessed and/ or responded to during the shift and prepare reports as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience of providing support to people with a variety of needs.
• Experience of working with vulnerable groups of people.
• Experience of working in an environment providing a service to the public and customer care experience.
• Experience of cash handling, credit card transactions, reconciling tills or other online payments.
• Hold or willing to work towards being a qualified First Aid Appointed Person.
