About the Role
As a Customer Service Advisor you’ll:
- Get to know our members and support them in finding the right products and services that can provide Real Help With Real Life - whether that’s saving for a gap year trip, buying a first home, or anything in between.
- Facilitate great conversations confidently through channel of choice, as you support our members in branch, over the phone and with the operation of their accounts online.
- Forget sales targets, and enjoy the freedom to do what’s right.

No working day in branch is ever the same. From serving customers on our counter, opening or changing accounts, helping us prepare and deliver Money Minds sessions to help educate adults and children on all matters money, to preparing and delivering frauds and scams sessions - we really are a branch that like to keep busy and are passionate about purposeful working!
The position is a flexible position with shifts to be decided on a rota basis and the individual applying ideally should be available to work shifts between the hours of Monday to Friday 9-5. The flexibility of the shifts within this position is not only extremely beneficial to how the branch operates but can also provide a great work/life balance for the individual in the role if you find that working a bit differently one week might save that all important annual leave for a much better time!
YBS Kilmarnock branch is located on King street in Kilmarnock and in close proximity to all other financial institutions making our branch easily accessible and vibrant within the financial sector of the town. The branch is close to both Kilmarnock bus and Trains station making the branch a short walk to the public transport links.”
