About the role:
Our Customer Service Assistants are often the first and last representatives of the racecourse that customers meet during their day at the races (or event). Workers should enjoy interacting with customers; greeting customers upon arrival, helping them to locate the entrances, bidding farewell to customers and informing them of future racedays and events.
The person we are looking for as Customer Service Assistant has….
Experience within a customer facing role (ie, Events/Hospitality)
Excellent communication skills
Eligibility to work in the UK
Be smart in appearance, helpful and assertive
Be firm, fair and friendly
Be confident in talking to customers and giving direction
Be calm under pressure and confident when dealing with situations that may arise spontaneously
What is casual work?
Casual work is a great solution as it enables you to work flexibly around other commitments in your life. Once you have registered your interest, we will contact you in advance to offer you department based shifts at racedays or events. There are usually a range of shifts available and opportunities for work are based on busy seasons and the annual racing calendar. Positions will be allocated on the day as part of the briefing.
