LoveJunk's mission is to make rubbish clearance cheaper, faster and more sustainable. On-demand waste removal is an inefficient and largely unloved market. Customers regularly overpay, collectors drive unnecessary miles, perfectly usable items end up destroyed, and fly tipping continues. We’re using technology and marketplace dynamics to change this. To provide people with a safe and simple solution to dispose of their unwanted stuff for the least economic and environmental cost possible.
The Role & Future
We are now looking for a bright, ambitious person to join us in a role that will involve working in our Customer Service team handling new enquiries, liaising with suppliers and project managing more complex collections whilst learning the business and industry.
The role will be challenging, busy and varied but hopefully fun at the same time.
Requirements
- Excellent spoken & written communication skills – with fluent, idiomatic English
- Natural empathy and an outgoing, friendly personality
- Comfortable with IT and software
- An organized, self-starter with a genuine interest in business
- Strong problem solving skills
Responsibilities
- Partner with customers to effectively resolve issues through phone, and email
- Answer how-to questions and help customers navigate the LoveJunk Platform
- Collaborate with other teams (product, ops) to maximise customer satisfaction
- Create and maintain up to date help documentation and articles
- Ability to take on small administration duties (eg onboarding, re-engagement calls)
