Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customer Service Representative to join our Clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling customer inquiries and providing exceptional service to our residents. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong customer focus, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding Customer Service to residents, handling inquiries and resolving issues promptly and effectively.
- Handle calls for the renewal of our Green Garden Waste subscription service, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments.
- Utilise call centre experience to efficiently manage high call volumes and maintain service levels.
- Demonstrate a good working knowledge of IT systems, including the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address customer concerns and escalate complex issues when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the database.
- Stay updated on Council policies, procedures, and services to provide accurate information to customers.
- Adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines governing Customer Service operations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a call centre or Customer Service role is essential.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of IT systems, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to quickly learn and navigate new software and systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing payments and maintaining records.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to manage time and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
- Knowledge of Council policies and services is desirable but not essential.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8.45am-5.15pm
- Friday: 8.45am-4.45pm
