ABOUT THE ROLE:
To administer all aspects of sales order processing process including preparation of quotations, sales orders, purchase orders, and provide a business support service as and when required.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Communicating with customers to clarify requirements, advising on pricing, lead times and delivery dates.
Sales order processing and the raising of purchase orders.
Respond to telephone enquiries/correspondence from customers in a professional manner.
To ensure service offers are articulated correctly and premiums applied.
Ensure customer complaints are actioned within ISO specified timescales.
Increase sales advising customers of products to complement/support the ones ordered.
Assist with CRM data input as and when required.
Manage quotations in line with ISO procedures and timescales to a professional standard.
Ensure timely follow up of quotations.
Work with and support external sales functions.
Liaise with technical support to ensure our quotations meet customer’s requirements.
Maintaining a clean order book.
Achieve customer deliveries in line with our published service offers and agreements.
Follow internal sales operations ISO procedures.
Process all orders to ensure they are clean and accurate when processed.
ABOUT YOU:
Previous experience working in a similar customer engaging role preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office packages especially Excel.
Proven experience of dealing with key customers in a professional manner.
Excellent communication and solution orientated problem-solving ability.
Demonstrate attention to detail and observation.
Flexibility to adjust workload priorities to take account of new deadlines.
Continuous Improvement Mindset.
Independent worker with excellent organisation / time management skills

Monday – Thursday 0815-1700
Friday 0830-1600
