We are thrilled to be exclusively recruiting for our global manufacturing client as they look to bring in a new key addition in to their Customer Services Team.
We are not necessarily looking for you to have previous manufacturing experience - what we are looking for are ambitious customer focussed individuals who excel in a fast paced environment and who thrive in a role where no one day is the same.

Your New Role, Reporting in to the Customer Services Manager, will be:
- Answering inbound calls and enquiries.
- Providing practical advice and suitable items for different applications.
- Processing customers (guideline of 24-48hr from date of receipt)
- Send order acknowledgement to customers and advising customer of the despatch dates for their (also to a guideline of 24-48hrs from date or process).
- Using excel to update an orders outstanding spreadsheet to allow you the ease of checking which orders haven’t had a date confirmed back from the relevant sister company.
- Essential that candidate is well accustomed to being an independent problem solver and is capable of using of available resources around them to help solve customer questions.
- Taking credit card payments for proforma customers who need to pay upfront for goods.
- Need to be a team player in order to help the department run smoothly and help cover each other’s roles.
- Dealing with worldwide sister company factories in order to get best possible delivery times and prices.
- Keeping customers informed of changes to orders eg. Despatch dates
- Managing a tidy filing system for all order paperwork to remain confidential but easily accessible for key personnel.
- Stock take - manually hand-counting stock in the showroom and data entering the information into our AS400 system. Accuracy is vital. (This is carried out every 6 months)
Ideal Experience You Will Have:
- Minimum of 2 year’s experience in a Customer Service Role
- Fully competent in Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail is imperative, as the catalogue of products is extremely lengthy
- Need to be able to prioritise and manage your own time
- Professional attitude and response towards customers
- Team Player but able to problem solve independently
- Punctual and conscientious
