Job Title: Customer Service Officer (Reception and Admin)

So…. What is this role exactly?

This is an exciting opportunity for a full time, permanent Reception and Administrative Officer at our Coops Foyer supported accommodation scheme for 16-25 year olds in Wigan town centre.

The role is based on scheme at Coops Foyer in Wigan Town Centre, and will move to our exiting new Wigan Foyer when this development is completed in the near future.

Coops Foyer is accredited with the Foyer Federation meaning we take an asset-based approach, called Advantaged Thinking, in all the work we do; encouraging young people experiencing homelessness to aim high, dream big and fulfil their ambitions.

What will my working week look like?

This role generally works 9-5, Monday to Friday on scheme at Coops Foyer, though there is some scope for flexibility around our core 8am-8pm hours.

What will I be responsible for doing?

As Reception and Administrative Officer you be responsible for delivering that first contact to both our residents and visitors, while also providing high quality administrate support service to the team.

This role also offers genuine progression opportunities, with previous staff progressing onto Project Officer and Accommodation and Support Officer roles. This role would also be an ideal first step for someone wanting to make a career in Supported Housing.
