Customer Team Leader

An exciting opportunity - Customer Team Leader wanted.

The Union Shop is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Customer Team Leader to join our team. You will supervise and motivate the team ensuring high standards of customer service and oversee daily shop operations to ensure the delivery of an efficient, effective, customer led retail service.

This post involves working an irregular shift pattern over 7 days on campus on a regular basis.

About the person:

*GCSE English and Maths Grade C or equivalent//NVQ 2 or equivalent in a relevant subject, Plus relevant retail experience.

OR

*Applicants without the relevant qualification but has demonstrable relevant retail experience will also be considered.

*Relevant experience to include:

• Supervising staff.
• Evidence of excellent customer service.
• Responsibility for cashless transactions.
• Use of touch screen EPOS system.
• Using relevant computer packages such as Microsoft Office, email and internet.
• Good communication & interpersonal skills.
• Flexible, willing to take on new tasks and duties.

Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
