Jewson Inverness, a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is on the hunt for a Customer & Yard Assistant, who's as passionate about great service as we are.

Hours: 7.30am– 5.00pm Monday to Friday, every 2nd Sat 8am-12pm
Location: Stadium Rd, Inverness IV1 1FF
Key Responsibilities
- Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson values
- Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, and keep customers updated throughout their journey
- Help to pick and prepare customer orders, load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a Forklift Truck to minimise manual handling (training will be provided)
- Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products
- Keep the branch and yard looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers
- Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts
- Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work
- Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement

Required Skills and Experience
- Previous industry experience preferred but not essential
- Experience in a customer facing environment
- Passion for working with people
- A positive can-do attitude
