Cyber Project Manager – Inside IR35
Contract Term: 12 Months

Location: Remote (Occasional travel to Croydon, London and Manchester Offices)
Active SC Security Clearance required or be willing to go through security clearance.
As a Cyber Project Manager, you will need to be Security Cleared to SC level and will be responsible for delivering projects and/or products within agreed timescales, to cost and quality standards. Depending on the project, you may be responsible for a number of smaller delivery teams, or alternatively a single delivery team to deliver a more complex/technical project. You will operate to deliver value against the strategic vision and customer requirements. You will work with senior and technical stakeholders, effectively translating technical concepts and influencing where necessary.
You will be expected to use your experience and expertise to work with flexibility, selecting and applying appropriate delivery techniques based on the requirements of the delivery. You will be required to flex the delivery approach to get the best out of your teams, providing them with support and guidance to enable successful delivery.
The Home Office requires an experienced Cyber Security Project Manager for this role.
Deliverables
• To project manage projects & work packages within the overall project with all project management functions and deliverables (i.e., a Plan, RAID, comms, engagement, management of delivery etc.) including projects that fall into the following areas:
o SIEM Convergence
o Deployable event collection patterns
o Threat, automation and orchestration
o Other SIEM products
o Other areas to improve CSOC maturity including training and dashboarding
Experience Required
• Active security clearance, or eligible to be security cleared, at least to SC level.
• Experience of project delivery for Cyber departments, particularly within Cyber Security Operations Centre (CSOC) functions – essential.
• Experience of SIEM delivery, new platform or convergence – essential.
• Other security tool delivery e.g. CyberArk, EDR, Threat Intelligence – desirable.
• Use of JIRA, MS Project and other planning & scheduling tools – essential.
Skills
• A project leader who can drive through change.
• Core project management including excellent planning skills, RAID (risk, assumption, issue and dependency) management, stakeholder engagement.
• Good communications, reporting and presentational skills.
• Experience in Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
• Comfortable, and with relevant experience, of involvement at the very start of immature projects.
• Understanding of the principles of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
