Are you a functional Cyber Security operations and delivery manager looking for a challenging role in a fairly immature cyber environment where there is major investment for growth in a business with an incredibly positive culture? This Cyber role will place you in a position that requires excellent communication skills as you will be involved in building internal and external relationships as well as contributing to strategy and delivery. There is a very strong element of 3rd party risk Management and pervious experience in this area is essential. You will also assume ownership of Training and awareness as well as SecOps and business operations. Any technical knowledge will be of advantage. The company works to the NIST Framework and knowledge in this area will also be beneficial.
I cannot speak highly enough about this business as the work they do is unique and global. They are not finance, Health etc but do manage over a trillion transactions a year! There is significant investment being made in the Cyber area of the business and the team will be growing over the next few months. The Cyber Sec and Operations manager will be a role that over time can start to take line management responsibility as the next layer of employees is hired. The team will always be fairly small as there is quite a good deal of delivery work undertaken by third parties.
Core ownership in the Cybersecurity role will cover
Business Engagement
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with Key stakeholders throughout the organisation.
* Understand and communicate cybersecurity requirements and capabilities across business units.
* Support the Head of Cyber and business units to implement the cybersecurity strategy.
Vendor Relationship Management
* Monitor each aspect of business engagement from start until the end.
* Optimise vendor productivity and performance through risk management strategies in-line with Service Level Agreements.
* Communicate regularly with the executive leadership team, managed services, and partners.
* Maintain member satisfaction by maintaining the quality of services offered and ensuring the delivery of work in the assigned time.
* Ability to build relationships, collaborate cross functionality with various departments and communicate with stakeholders of varying seniority to explain tracking against key performance indicators and metrics in simple business language.
* Engaging with the wider business on Cybersecurity capability and partnership requirements.
Third Party Security Risk Management
* Overseeing third party relationships ensuring that vendors are delivering in line with agreed SLA’s.
* Demonstrate good practices of Third-Party Security Risk Management processes and governance.
Responsible for overseeing the Security Risk Management processes and collaborating across the business to minimise third party security risks.
