Cybersecurity Operations Manager

We are partnered with a well-established charity based in London, dedicated to making a significant impact in our community. They are looking for a Cybersecurity Operations Manager to join the team. This role is critical in ensuring the security and integrity of their digital infrastructure, which is vital to their mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the Cybersecurity Operations within the charity.
• Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and policies.
• Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
• Manage cybersecurity risks by conducting regular assessments and audits.
• Coordinate with different departments to ensure cybersecurity best practices are integrated throughout the organisation.
• Respond to and manage security incidents and breaches promptly and effectively.
• Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends and threats, and adapt strategies accordingly.
• Manage and allocate the cybersecurity budget effectively, ensuring optimal use of resources.
• Liaise with external partners, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies regarding cybersecurity matters.
• Prepare and present reports on cybersecurity status and issues to senior management and relevant committees.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and incident response.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to communicate complex security concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in managing budgets and resources effectively.
