Role: Data Governance Manager
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (Permanent role)
Location: Manchester (Flexible, hybrid working is encouraged)

Xpertise Recruitment is searching for an experienced Data Governance Manager for one of our clients in the financial services industry.

We are looking for someone who lives and breathes everything data.

Key responsibilities:

- Mentor, train and line manage a small Data Governance team.
- Lead initiatives for data quality management and liaise with the wider business.
- Developing and implementing protocols for overseeing and enhancing data integrity.
- Recognise and address potential risks related to Data Governance, such as security breaches and unauthorised access.

Essential requirements:

- Significant experience in a data management role with recent experience as a direct line manager.
- Outstanding communication skills with proven stakeholder management experience.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, which allow you to make accurate data-driven decisions.
- Industry experience is favourable.
