Description
As a Data & Reporting Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the availability and accuracy of energy consumption data on Zenergi’s internal systems. You will provide support to our flexible purchasing team to maintain up-to-date customer position reports, ensuring accurate report of energy trades.
You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and utility suppliers, as well as utilising available portals, which is essential to ensure all data we hold is accurate and up to date. This is a key role that facilitates our procurement team to secure the best rates our customers in a timely manner and ensures accurate financial reporting.
Primary duties
Procurement
- Proactively build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure swift resolution and support for customers via the supplier portals.
- Ensure letters of authority from customers are kept up to date and on file to allow us to act on the customers behalf without delay.
- Ensure all Company systems are kept up to date with required data from customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Reviewing consumption data and identifying any gaps or anomalies.
- Consulting with suppliers to query any erroneous data where anomalies have been identified.
- Updating position reports on a regular basis with market prices and trade data.
- Issuing position reports to our customers on a frequency agreed by the flexible purchasing team.
- Support with ad hoc supplier enquiries requesting portfolio data or other information to be extracted from Zenergi’s systems.
- General report development using excel or PowerBI.

- GCSE (or equivalent) at grade C or above in English and Maths.

- Experience of working in an Analyst role.
- Experience of working in a supplier management role.
Desirable
- Experience of working in the utilities sector.
