The scope for impactful data science across the institution is large, and as part of a new capability for the university, you will play a pivotal role in shaping institutional strategies and optimizing the overall student and academic experience. This role will work within the Data Lab, which is a new organisation being built at Warwick. As a member of the Data Science team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of data-driven decision-making at the University. The focus will be on innovation, digitisation and delivering something fresh for our users. Collaborating with other data professionals, we will be building effective new data products to influence institutional strategy and help deliver the best possible student and research experience. About You You will be enthusiastic about practical data science and collaborating with business and technical teams to realise game changing capabilities. You will be used to working alongside reporting, analytics, governance, and data engineering teams, collaborating on the development of data products. Knowledge of statistics and machine learning in Python is critical. The ideal candidate will also have a degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
