About the Role
As a BJSS Data Scientist, you’ll join multi-disciplinary teams of some of the brightest and best in the industry. You’ll work in a fast moving, agile environment and will be involved in building machine learning models, analysing trends and patterns in datasets, designing data science pipelines around data as well as creating powerful dashboards bringing data insights to life with actionable insights.
You’ll help deliver some of the most exciting digital programmes around for clients in a range of industries by:
- Applying cross-disciplinary thinking and working collaboratively with other members of your team
- Building a deep understanding of business domain and user needs and making sure that the actual business value is unlocked as early as possible
- Thinking holistically and treating data as a business service
We’re helping some of the world’s largest organisations in UK to build cloud-native data platforms and best in business machine learning algorithms. If you have experience with data exploration, profiling, analysis, modelling, pattern recognition or data visualisation, we’d love to talk to you.
About You
We’re looking for people who will go an extra mile to understand our clients’ strategic and operational challenges and help us to design and deliver innovative solutions. You should understand the inner technical details of Machine Learning models but also be able to explain findings to business stakeholders.
You should apply if you have experience in the following:
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL, and have experience writing production code in these languages
- Experience with data manipulation (pandas, polars, pySpark) and machine learning frameworks (scikit-learn, Keras, TensorFlow, or PyTorch)
- Knowledge of and experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Matplotlib)
- Experience working with cloud-based technologies in any of the major cloud providers (Azure, AWS or GCP)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills
