About the role
We are searching for creative individuals to join our friendly Community Learning team. Our aim is to provide a wide ranging programme of learning and leisure opportunities for adults with epilepsy and complex learning difficulties, ensuring meaningful engagement for individuals whilst promoting independence. Some of the key duties include;
Arranging and participating in activities both on and offsite
Developing skills according to person centred plans
Recording, supporting and celebrating personal achievements of individuals
Assisting with personal care and maintaining a clean environment ensuring resources used are safely stored away
*There are two positions available for this role; one full time, permanent and one FTC for approx. 9 months to cover maternity.
About you
You need to be dedicated, motivated, caring and passionate about the people we support. We also ask that you share and demonstrate our values and passion to support our clients to live their lives as independently as possible. The full-time hours for this role are 37.5 hours per week working Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm.
To be considered for this role, you must have a full clean manual UK driving licence, as you may be required to drive our St. Elizabeth’s vehicles from time to time.
