About us - Sensesation Day Service Supports adults with physical and learning disabilities. We are a sensory-based Day Service operating from 0700 until 1900 hours offering a range of activities and experiences for people with disabilities.

The Role:

-Support with Activates and days out

-Support with escort duties on the transport to and from the service.

-Support with medication,

-Support with personal care.

-Support with Nutrition and hydration

Responsibilities you must be able to :

- Have fun and help create a positive atmosphere for the people that attend our service

- Be creative to think of different actives the people we support can do .

- Be willing to learn about peoples likes and dislikes and how to provide individualised support for people.

- Be a team player.

- Sensitive to peoples emotional and physical needs.

Hours of work

-We have both full and part time positions.

-Successful candidates will work every other Saturday

-We have the following shift patens available:

- our service operates from 0700 hours until 1900 hours.

-Rota's are provided at least monthly in advance.

Experience:
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is preferred
- Knowledge of person-centered care and support techniques
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with individuals of diverse backgrounds
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging situations with patience and empathy
- Flexibility in scheduling, as some evening and weekend shifts may be required
