This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Adult Services.
We pay an attractive salary of £12,803 - £13,691 and offer access to training and development opportunities.
We are currently looking to recruit a fixed term, part time Day Services Assistants to join our team at Brooklands Resource Centre in Risca, working 3 days per week, Monday, Tuesday and Friday.
We are looking for people who can light up a room when they enter, wear their hearts on their sleeve, who have exceptional personable skills and have a motivated and positive attitude to all aspects of working with people.
We aim to provide a person centered and tailored approach when providing social opportunities, the individuals we support are at the center of all we do, we want staff who are motivated in empowering people to achieve their goals and outcomes, we want you to be the reason that individuals enjoy their sessions with us.
You will become part of a team, who strives to provide the best outcomes for individuals using a person-centered approach.
The service is working towards providing weekend and early evening support and you will be required to work on a rota basis as and when required.
For the role, we ask that you have:
1. Level 2 qualification in Care or the commitment and ability to attain the qualification within 1 year of appointment.
2. An understanding of disability issues such as empowerment, choice and advocacy.
3. The ability to adopt a motivated, committed and flexible approach to duties, which could include working in community locations/bases within the county borough of Caerphilly.
