Taylor Root have partnered with a leading US law firm in their search for an experienced Paralegal to join their market leading Debt Finance team. This role will be based in the firms London office and will be offered on a permanent basis.
The Firm
Our client is a large US law firm with offices globally. They are known for their working across multiple corporate specialisms and have built a strong name for themselves in Funds, Corporate M&A and Debt Finance transactions.
The Team
The firm are amongst the largest sponsor-focused Debt Finance practices in Europe, advising on TLB, second lien, PIK, bank/bond and unitranche structures across large cap and middle market deals. The team are at the forefront of some of the most innovative financing structures and acts regularly on the most complex global and pan-European transactions.
The Role
You will be joining a busy Debt Finance practice and the key responsibilities will include:
- Acting as point-person to organise and manage precedents and core documentation for key top-tier sponsor clients.
- Co-ordinating KYC knowhow and resources and assisting lawyers with the satisfaction of lenders’ KYC requirements when acting for borrowers on large LBO finance transactions.
- Monitoring and tracking activity in the leveraged finance market.
- When deal flow allows, handling other knowhow and transactional projects as assigned by the partners and associates in the Debt Finance group.
The Ideal Candidate
You will have prior Paralegal experience working ideally in a transactional team. It is not essential you have experience in KYC however it is preferred. You will ideally have worked in another top 50 law firm or US practice.
