Form of workWe are looking for a Debt Specialist to join a busy Credit Control team.
You will be working closely with the companies Chief Executive and Credit Control Manager to manage responses and actions in relation to contractual disputes and queries.
Hours: Part Time up to 24hrs
Monday to Friday (Hybrid / Work from Home considered after 3 months)
Salary up to £35,000 pro-rata
Responsibilities
- Ability to assess a variety of work, including debt claims and other contractual disputes, investigating and drafting responses where appropriate.
- Follow through debt recovery cases to county court and small claims court.
- Working with Credit Control to push cases through to a timely conclusion.
- Continual process improvement.
- Monitor compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies, ensure that your findings are recorded and followed up with management so that issues can be rectified.
- Various general administrative duties (such as file creation and maintenance of ongoing administrative projects)
- Collaborate with other departments.
Experience or Qualifications required
- Law Degree part or full qualification or relevant experience in similar role.
- The successful candidate is likely to have a minimum of 2 year's experience in legal debt recovery field and first-hand experience of the litigation process.
- Specific knowledge / experience of Commercial Landlord & Tenant Law would be helpful but is not essential.
