Situation
An exciting new requirement for a Delivery Manager to manage a team of 25 technicians, including Overhead Line Workers, Cable Jointers and Fault Technicians. You will be solely responsible to ensure those teams are dispatched to faults activity quickly, standards of health and safety are exceeded, productivity and quality of service delivery are maximised and excellent customer service is achieved.
The ideal candidate will have Site Management experience, strong man management experience & proven ability in allocation resource.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a workforce of 20-25 staff that conduct planned maintenance, reactive maintenance, and some new construction work.
- Allocating and prioritising the work schedule.
- Managing the depot activities.
- Getting out on site, ensuring safety, performance and productivity levels are achieved.
- Maintain and support the standards of Health and Safety as agreed by the company policy.
- Be visible on site, engaging with the teams, driving productivity and completing safety audits
Location: Carlisle + plus offsite travel.
Salary: Up to GBP57,000 + Car allowance & attractive bonus package.
Working Practice: 5 days onsite (these days may require you to travel offsite)
Agreed Criteria for candidates to secure interview
- Commutable distance to depot responsible for Carlisle.
- Strong man management experience of similar site teams (will consider candidates that have managed smaller teams)
- Site management experience within a D&O, Utilities or Construction.
- Proven ability in resource allocation.
