Managing and delivering work packages on post Build Astute (and in future Dreadnought) submarines to fulfil outstanding contractual liabilities after formal handover and acceptance by the CustomerWorking alongside Project Delivery Teams in Barrow to develop plans and schedules in preparation for the execution of work packages to support post-exit Submarines to fulfil remaining contractual obligationsUndertake the role of Senior BAE Manager on the Clyde, representing the Build Programmes, liaising with key stakeholders (both internal and external) to undertake, oversee and manage detailed planning, resourcing and delivery of packages during maintenance periodsYour skills and experiences:Extensive Project Management and submarine engineering experienceGood understanding of nuclear Submarine build test, commissioning and maintenance protocols and methodologyStrong leadership skills with a proven track record in people managementStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsBenefits:You'll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, company car allowance, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan. The Waterfront Delivery team:Waterfront Delivery is part of the Post Exit Delivery Team, who undertake the management and delivery of Sea Trials and all Post Barrow Exit work scope and contract closure. This role provides a huge amount of visibility across the business and access to both internal and external stakeholders, including the MoD and Royal Navy. You will be given plenty of growth opportunities within this role, it truly is a very exciting time to join the Submarine function.
