Deputy Finance Director/ Financial Controller

Construction SME on rapid growth trajectory is recruiting an interim Deputy Finance Director/ Financial Controller.

The role is based in London 2/3 days per week and will support the Managing Director and main board in developing a high-performing finance and operations function.

Main responsibilities are:

• All aspects of the day-to-day financial operations; management and statutory reporting.
• Management and development of the finance and operations teams
• Identifying weaknesses and risks and implementing controls.
• Systems improvements and process design.
• Accurate cashflow management, reporting and forecasting.
• Driving the annual planning and budgeting processes.
• Providing business partnering and decision support to key stakeholders.
• Support working capital targets through reporting, analysis, and managing debtors and creditors.
• Ensuring tax compliance.

Looking for a fully qualified accountant experienced in financial management and accounting for an SME. We are looking for someone with great leadership skills and proven line management experience who is motivated by a challenging and rewarding environment.

Candidates must be experienced professional interim managers with experience of at least 3 or 4 similar roles in SME businesses.

Daily rate - £600-800 / day DOE
