Head of Finance Systems (D365 F&O) is required for this global customer to lead, shape and drive the digital Finance Systems roadmap with particular focus surrounding Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM and it's associated periphery systems/integrations.
This newly created Finance Systems Leadership position will have ownership for the implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O system and broader business system landscape that impact on the office of Finance once live. You will join a high performing team combining Finance IT hybrid skill sets to build collaborative partnerships across Finance, IT and wider business functions. Leveraging your extensive Finance Process & ERP expertise and people management skills you will partner with internal stakeholders and End users, whilst forming excellent vendor relationships with external parties to support the Centre of Excellence and optimise scalable Finance Technology solutions.
As the Director of Finance Systems your key accountabilities will include:

• Drive the Financial Systems Roadmap, including financial budget, finance platform (ERP/AI) development, long term evolution, strategy, controls and governance.
• Manage the Microsoft Dynamics team, supporting the Finance Systems Analyst's on the development and enhancement of D365 F&O.
• Act as the Finance Systems subject matter expert with particular emphasis surrounding Microsoft Dynamics.
• Perform root cause analysis/business analyst techniques to identify opportunities for improvement, thus improving bottleneck.
• Ensure execution of overall group objectives working in collaboration with other colleagues and business functions globally.
• Act as the business side Programme Manager ensuring the relationships with the Systems Integrator are well maintained.
• Encourage increased adoption of Finance Enterprise Applications across the group and identify opportunities for new technology.

Being successful in this position requires a Microsoft Dynamics Finance Systems professional with a strong accounting/finance process background (ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified ideally) and has proven support and management experience across the Finance/IT hybrid vertical whilst having key touch points on ERP (D365 F&O) and Finance Technology within a fast paced environment. Proven project management and change management experience will be key in this position along with strong leadership and vendor management experience. You will be an excellent communicator and can present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
