Deputy Manager - Adolescents home
NonStop Care is working with a Adolescent home based in the Newport area, they are looking for a Deputy manager to join the team on a fixed 12 month contract.
You will be responsible for working closely with the Registered Manager to manage and develop the local social work team that supports our foster carers, children and young people in placements, this valuable assistance and training will allow for greater career opportunities
Responsibilities:
To ensure that the needs of young people in care are met and to provide a positive and safe living experience for these young people and;
To manage and lead the Team Leaders and Residential Support Workers in order to provide a high quality of childcare and;
To work with and support the Children's Home Manager to ensure that the residential home runs smoothly and effectively at all times and that young people achieve positive outcomes.
Benefits:
Competitive pay rate - Up to 33,197.84 which includes basic of 28,829.84 + sleeps in shifts
On call payments- 10 for weekday (Monday to Friday) and 50 for Saturday and Sunday
Assist with getting NVQ Level 5 if needed
Increased Overtime Rate 17.50
22 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)
Non-contributory pension (9% Employer contribution) and company sick pay after 6 months' probation
Enhanced sick pay - 5 days full sick pay
